The 2017 World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) will take place in Taipei from September 10 to 13. The event will provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to flex their innovative muscles and network with global industry heavyweights, said the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
The 4-day summit is expecting to see 2,500 professionals from 80 countries and territories attend the event's keynotes and business matchmaking sessions, as well as the IoT innovation summit, circular economy round table, and a raft of parallel conferences and events, the MOEA said.
This year's WCIT will feature a grand exhibition, to be held at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1, highlighting Taiwan's strengths as a global technology powerhouse.
